Notifications & appearance
The notification bell, what lands in it, and making SuiteVenues look the way you like — light, dark, or system.
SuiteVenues keeps you posted without being noisy, and it'll match whatever color mode your eyes prefer.
The notification bell
The bell in the top navigation collects everything that needs you:
- Booking activity — new requests, and when yours are accepted or declined
- Messages — new conversations and unread reminders
- Reviews — when someone reviews you, or replies to your review
- Account nudges — an unverified email, or a payout account that still needs connecting
Notifications arrive in real time while you're on the site, and the important ones (like booking requests and review invitations) also go to your email so nothing slips by while you're away.
Color mode
Under Settings → Settings, the Color mode control offers three choices:
- Light — the warm cream look
- Dark — easy on the eyes at night
- System — follows your device setting, switching automatically as it does
Your choice is remembered on your account, so it follows you across devices.
Dashboard sections
The same Settings tab has Dashboard Settings — toggles for each section of your dashboard (events, venues, vendor profiles, bookings, favorites, customers). More on that in Your dashboard tour.
Tip: If notifications seem to be missing, check that your email address is verified — a few email notifications wait for that.
