Host fees and payouts
Listing is free. When a booking completes, a flat 5% success fee comes out of your payout — here's the math, worked through.
SuiteVenues is success-based: listing costs nothing, and the platform earns only when you do. One flat 5% fee, deducted from your payout.
The math, worked through
Say a guest books your space for a $1,000 subtotal (venue plus add-ons):

Both sides pay 5%, so the platform's total is 10% of the subtotal — half from each party. Your side is always shown on the booking review screen under Your payout, before you accept.
Card processing
Because guests pay you directly through your own Stripe account, Stripe deducts its card-processing fee from the payment before funds settle — the same as any card payment you'd take yourself. It's separate from the SuiteVenues fee and set by Stripe.
Note: Your Stripe Dashboard shows a "SuiteVenues fee" on each payment that's larger than your $50 — that's the guest's own service fee passing through your account to the platform. You never pay it; your payout math is exactly the table above.
Refunds and your fee
If a booking is refunded under your cancellation policy, SuiteVenues returns its platform fee in proportion to the refund — on the share you keep, fees apply; on the share refunded, they don't. Stripe's card processing fee from the original payment is non-refundable (Stripe's policy, not ours). Full details in Set your cancellation policy.
Tips are all yours
When a guest tips after an event, 100% goes to you — SuiteVenues takes nothing from tips. Stripe's card fee still applies, as with any charge.
