RSVPs and tickets
How guests respond to an event — free RSVPs, reserved seats, capacity limits, and what organizers see.
Every event page has a built-in way for guests to count themselves in. Which one depends on how the event was set up: a free RSVP, or reserved seats for ticketed events.
RSVP events
Guests choose their party size and confirm — done. A few rules keep the count honest:
- Guests need a (free) SuiteVenues account, so every RSVP is a real person. New guests can sign up mid-RSVP and land right back on the event.
- One RSVP per person per event — no accidental doubles.
- When the event reaches its RSVP capacity, it closes automatically.
Guests see "Your RSVP is confirmed" the moment it lands, and the organizer's count updates in real time.
Ticketed events
Events with paid seats show a price and a quantity picker; guests choose how many and press Reserve seats. Reservations come out of the event's remaining capacity, and when it's gone the page reads sold out.
Open events
Some gatherings don't need a headcount at all. Those pages simply say so — no registration needed, just show up and enjoy.
For organizers
- Counts live on My Events and on the event page itself.
- Capacity is yours to set (up to your plan's per-event limit — 2,000 on Free).
- A private event still takes RSVPs; only people with the link can reach it.
