How booking works

Every venue on SuiteVenues uses a request-to-book model. You describe your event, the host reviews it, and nothing is charged until they accept. Here's the whole journey.

Send your request

On a venue's page, the booking panel walks you through it:

1. Pick your dates. A single day is fine — the end date is optional. Venues that price hourly will ask for start and end times, and some set a minimum number of hours.
2. Set your guest count, up to the venue's capacity.
3. Add any add-ons & services the host offers — extras like equipment, staffing, or packages, priced flat, per person, per hour, or per unit.
4. Use Event details to tell the host about the occasion, your run of the day, setup and teardown, or vendors you're bringing in.
5. Review the quote — the venue price, your add-ons, and the customer service fee are all itemized — and press Request to book.

You won't be charged yet — the host confirms first.

The host reviews it

Hosts approve every booking personally. They can accept your request or decline it (often with a note or an alternative suggestion). While your request is pending you can still edit it — change dates, guests, or add-ons — right from the booking page.

Note: A pending request doesn't reserve the date. The calendar is only blocked once a request is accepted, so popular dates can attract more than one request.

Pay to confirm

Once the host accepts, the Pay now button unlocks on your booking page. Payment goes through Stripe's secure checkout, directly to the venue — see Fees when you book for exactly what you'll pay. The moment payment lands, your booking is confirmed and the date is locked in.

After your event

A couple of hours after your event wraps, the booking is marked completed and we'll invite you to leave a review — and optionally a tip.

If plans change

You can cancel a booking any time before it's completed; refunds follow the host's cancellation policy, which you see before you ever pay. The details are in Cancellations & refunds.
