Fees when you book
One flat 5% customer service fee, always shown before you pay — and nothing at all until the host accepts.
SuiteVenues keeps pricing simple: browsing and requesting are free, and when you book, you pay the venue's price plus one flat 5% customer service fee.
What you'll see before you pay
Your quote is itemized before you send a request and again before you pay:
- The venue's rate — hourly, daily, or full-day, exactly as the host set it
- Each add-on you chose
- Customer service fee — 5% of the subtotal
- Tax, if it applies
- Total
No surprises at checkout: the total you see is the total you're charged.
When you're charged
Never at request time. Payment only happens after the host accepts, when you press Pay now. The full amount is processed in one secure Stripe checkout, and your booking is confirmed the moment it lands.
Where your money goes
Your payment goes directly to the host through Stripe — their name appears at checkout and on your statement. SuiteVenues collects only its service fee. Hosts pay their own 5% success fee on their side, so the platform earns only when a booking succeeds. (Curious about the host's side? See Host fees and payouts.)
Note: If your booking is later refunded, your service fee is refunded in the same proportion as the rest — details in Cancellations & refunds.
Tips are fee-free
If you add a tip after your event, 100% of it goes to the provider — SuiteVenues takes nothing from tips. See Tipping after your event.
