Passkeys and two-factor authentication

Two strong ways to protect your account — a passkey for daily sign-ins, and 2FA codes as a second lock.

Your account holds your bookings, messages, and payout settings — worth protecting well. SuiteVenues supports two modern protections, both under Settings → Security.

Passkeys

A passkey signs you in with your device's own unlock — Face ID, Touch ID, or your computer's fingerprint reader — instead of a password. There's nothing to remember and nothing phishable.

  1. Open Settings → Security and find the Passkeys section.
  2. Name the device ("My MacBook", "Chris's phone") and choose Add a passkey.
  3. Approve the prompt from your browser, and that's it — next sign-in, pick the passkey option.

Add one per device you use regularly. Each is listed with when it was added, and you can remove any of them at any time.

Two-factor authentication

2FA adds a rotating six-digit code from an authenticator app on top of your password:

  1. In the Two-factor authentication section, choose Enable two-factor authentication.
  2. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (1Password, Google Authenticator, Authy — any of them), then enter the 6-digit code to finish.
  3. Save your recovery codes somewhere safe. They're the way back in if you lose your phone, and you can regenerate them any time.

Important: Recovery codes are shown so you can store them — treat them like passwords. Anyone with a code can pass your second factor.

Passwords still matter

Passkeys and 2FA layer on top of your password, not instead of it. Use a strong password you don't use anywhere else; you can change it in the same Security tab. For your protection, sensitive changes ask you to confirm your password first.

Locked out?

If you can't get in with any method, use the account recovery link on the sign-in page and we'll verify it's really you.
