Tipping after your event
Reviews help the next planner; tips thank a team that went above and beyond. 100% goes to the provider.
After your event wraps up, we'll email you an invitation to review your host or vendor — and, if they earned it, add a tip. Both take about a minute.
Leaving a review
The morning after your event, look for an email titled "How was your event at…". It links to the review page for your booking: a star rating and a few words about what the next planner should know. Reviews only come from completed bookings, so every one on SuiteVenues reflects a real event.
Adding a tip
Right below the review form you'll find the tip picker:
- Preset amounts at 15%, 18%, 20%, 22%, and 25% of the service subtotal (nobody tips on a platform fee)
- A custom amount if you'd rather name your own ($1 minimum)
- No tip — the default, and always a fine choice
100% of a tip goes to the provider — SuiteVenues takes nothing from tips. The charge goes straight to their account through Stripe, separate from your booking payment.
Note: Your review stands on its own. It saves before the tip is processed, so even if a card hiccups, your words still count.
Tipping later
Not ready the day after? No problem. Your booking page keeps both Leave a review and Leave a tip buttons available, so you can come back whenever.
Who can be tipped
Tips are available on paid bookings once they're complete, as long as the provider's payout account is active. Cancelled or refunded bookings can still be reviewed, but not tipped.
